Lauren Bronneberg is a passionate advocate for education and community engagement. As a Procurement Specialist for Cattaraugus County, she brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to public service to her role on the St. Mary’s School for the Deaf (SMSD) Board, where she has served diligently since 2017.

A proud parent of SMSD alumna Julia Bronneberg, Valedictorian of the Class of 2020, Lauren has firsthand knowledge of the transformative power of an SMSD education. Julia’s exceptional academic and athletic achievements are a testament to the high-quality education and supportive environment provided by the school.

During her tenure on the SMSD Board, Lauren has been an active participant in various committees, making significant contributions to fundraising initiatives and policy decisions. She has also played a crucial role in the school’s accreditation process, ensuring that SMSD maintains the highest standards of education.

Lauren is a vocal advocate for SMSD, having participated in numerous advocacy days in Albany to promote the school’s interests and secure necessary funding. Her dedication to the school’s mission has been instrumental in ensuring that SMSD continues to provide exceptional educational opportunities for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Beyond her board service, Lauren has been actively involved in various school activities, including the Residential Thanksgiving Dinner and volunteering at school events. Her commitment to SMSD extends beyond her official role, demonstrating a genuine passion for the school and its students.
