The Baby Bisons took the field yesterday to play against Aurora, again! SMSD Bisons really took our practices seriously this week and applied their knowledge well during the game, showing great improvement positionally and overall soccer skills!
The first half was exciting! 2 quick goals by Aurora found the Bisons down, but Daviangel quickly got one back to make it 2-1. The first half continued to be back and forth, and Daviangel netted another goal, and Alejandro scored his first career SMSD soccer goal! Congratulations, Alejandro!! The score at the end of the half was 5-3 with Aurora in the lead.
The second half proved to be exhausting for our Baby Bisons, and unfortunately could not keep up with Aurora's best. The Baby Bisons played hard, played well, communicated using their hands and their voices, and they ALL applied skills from practice to the game. Ben Lam had a great game in net as our keeper, who received an assist on Davi's 3rd goal from a punt after a save!!
Win or lose, the Baby Bisons did EXACTLY what any other team is supposed to do - play and learn together, not individually.
Great game, Baby Bisons!
Finaly score:
12-4
