Game Recaps 2024

10/23/24- The Baby Bisons faced a tough loss against Tapestry yesterday, ending the game with a score of 5-2. After going down 2-1 in the first half, the team rallied to tie the game at 2-2. However, Tapestry scored three goals in the final minutes to seal the victory.

Nick Labelle started things off with a beautiful kick, scoring to tie the game 1-1. RJ Ormsby then fought hard to get the ball into the other zone and scored our second goal, making it 2-2. Unfortunately, Adrianna almost scored a couple of times, but she was injured with an ankle sprain just as she was about to kick at an open net. We’re all sad for her and wish her a speedy recovery, she's worked so hard this season.

Samiah played exceptionally well in goal, making fantastic saves to keep us competitive throughout the game. After our tie, Tapestry was awarded a penalty kick, putting them ahead 3-2. In the last few minutes, they added two more goals to make it 5-2.

Despite the heart-breaking outcome, the coaches are proud of the team's effort and determination! Thank you to all the fans who came out to support us, we appreciate your encouragement! Come support us as we play our last game next Wednesday at 4:00 PM at home.

Record 0-1-5

10/16/24- In our game against Nichols, we may have faced a tough opponent in a high-scoring loss, but we had something to celebrate, RJ Ormsby scored his first goal! The whole team was pumped, and we couldn’t be more excited for him. Even though we didn’t get the win, the team’s energy and spirit were still strong. We’ll keep building on that momentum!

10/9/24- In our game against Elmwood Franklin, we faced tough competition and unpredictable weather! It started pouring, but the sun came out midway through, along with a beautiful double rainbow. Nick LaBelle scored a sweet goal, but unfortunately, we lost. Adrianna Bannister came very close to scoring as well, and with her hard work and hustle, we’re confident she’ll find the back of the net in one of our upcoming games. The team gave it their all, and we’re proud of their effort. Aiden had a solid first half in net, and we decided to switch things up by putting him on offense while Samiah took over as goalie. She did an awesome job and made some great saves!

10/2/24- The team played decent in a high-scoring game against a strong opponent, but we couldn’t find ourselves in their zone. Nick LaBelle scored a solid breakaway goal, though. Despite the loss, our players showed effort and kept their spirits up throughout the match.  Tha’Er and Vignesh made a great defensive pair, with Tha’Er getting some good stops and clearances, and Vignesh putting in all his effort.

9/25/24- Baby Bisons had a GREAT performance today! Daviangel with TWO goals! Aiden Tojek-Acevedo made some great saves to keep his team in it! 2nd half communication and passing was effective! Great job to all!!

Final Score: 2-2
