A seasoned educator and dedicated servant leader, Sister Beth Ann Finster has committed her career to fostering positive change and inspiring others. As a valued member of the Leadership Team at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Buffalo, she continues to exemplify the congregation's unwavering dedication to social justice and compassionate service.

Prior to her current role, Sister Beth served as the Assistant Director of University Ministry at the University of Detroit Mercy. In this capacity, she spearheaded initiatives such as Alternative Spring Break and International Service Experiences. These programs were designed to cultivate spiritual growth, foster a sense of social responsibility, and empower students and athletes to become active agents of change in their communities and beyond.

Her early career as a dedicated educator at Mt. St. Joseph Academy and other institutions reflects her commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. With a strong foundation in education and a heart for service, Sister Beth brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills to her role on the Board of Trustees at St. Mary’s School for the Deaf. Her contributions to the organization are invaluable, as she leverages her expertise in guiding the school's mission and ensure the continued success of its students.
